最近一段时间，我把大量的精力花费在非技术工作之上，但是这又是一件令人兴奋而值得去做的工作，就是参与面试和考核那些有机会成为我所在的Platform Evangelism团队的Evangelist（传教士）的候选人。开诚布公地讲，Adobe中国研发中心将在2010年会加入5个新的技术传教士（工作地点北京），分别面向社区，教育，游戏/媒体，互动/用户体验设计，企业这5个垂直领域。我的工作就是参与第一轮的技术面试并挑选出合适的候选人。目前，我还没有找到最好的2个候选人成为游戏/媒体和互动/用户体验设计的传教士，所以特别在这里公开一些信息，希望能够将我们对这2个职位的需求开放出来。
在我贴出详细的JD（Job Description）之前，我先来说一下一些成为技术传教士的硬性条件（不管是哪一个传教士职位都要求的）：
1. 5-8年Web技术领域工作背景，最好是有售前工程师，技术咨询顾问，架构师或产品经理工作经验
2. 出色的演讲能力及驾驭听众的各种手段
3. 出色的语言沟通能力及技巧，包括普通话和英语
4. 了解中国市场，尤其是职位所对应的垂直行业。
5. 极强的个人学习能力，你可以一时不会某项新兴Web技术，但是你可以通过自我学习非常快速的掌握此项技术。
5. 渴望去成为一个技术传教士，有非常强烈的兴趣在Web技术领域，乐于分享，同时又享受此项工作。

下面是关于游戏/视频领域的技术传教士的具体工作要求：
Role description:

• Platform Evangelist engages the developers from Java, .Net, PHP or AJAX communities with Adobe Flash Platform technologies in RIA ecosystem.
• Platform Evangelist wins the hearts and minds of the developers and drive excitement for Adobe Flash Platform technologies.
• Platform Evangelist engages with their local community ecosystem and understands the importance of influencers in their area.
• Platform Evangelist builds strong relationships with 3rd party and competitive influences to shift their perception of Adobe
• Platform Evangelist contributes to the breadth ISV mission as content experts and speakers at events, as well as through blogging and direct engagement with communities.

Responsibilities:
• The Developer Evangelist role is a technical expert with adequate mix of audience marketing. The mission is to win enterprise developers and drive excitement for Flash Platform technologies – especially, Flash Player, Flex, AIR, Action Script, Flash Mobile etc., as and when they relate to developers.
• Evangelists engage with the developer community via online interactions, blogs, twitters, SNS apps, events and seminar, 1:1 with key enterprise customer and partner.
• Engage customers and partners to adopt Adobe Flash Platform technologies based on their original creative and interactive requirements.
• Evangelist should listen to the voices from developers, designers, partners, customers and competitors to know about things in ecosystem. Quickly find out the clear way to leverage Flash Platform technologies and deliver to outside people successfully.
• Defeat competitors FUD.
• Video & Gaming Centric Evangelist additional responsibilities:
• Deep dive in media companies especially the internet new media companies in China such as CCTV,SMG, Youku.com, Tudou.com and other media companies which are using Flash video and audio technologies. Engage them with Adobe Flash, Flash Video and Flash Media Server products on their current online media products.
• Provide the leading online video solutions with Flash family include architecture, POC, consulting and training on VOD, live, multicast and DVR online applications.
• Work closely with China gaming companies, keep the flash leadership on web social gaming industry. Drive Adobe and game developers to develop the Flash and AS3 APIs and demos on those popular web social games. Watch and learn the web social gaming trends and future revenue model, and then collect the requirements for future support in gaming industry.
• Build up close relationship with China Gaming industry players such as Tencent, Shanda, Netease and etc. Watch the new trends of MMORPG and Web3D games on Internet browsers.
• Watch and learn the competitor’s media and gaming technologies strategies and roadmap in China.
下面是关于交互/用户体验设计的传教士工作要求：
Role description:

• Design Centric evangelist additional Responsibilities:
• Build up the strong relationships with Advertising agency, Printing and Publishing companies, Internet companies UED department and Fine Art universities.
• Find out the best ways to integrate the flash interactive design with other technologies such as Ajax, DHTML, CSS which have been often used by many large companies UED teams.
• Work together with SI partners design team, and provide the great flash interactive design solutions and knowledge.
